About

New Roxbury Building Committee

Mission

The mission of the New Roxbury Building Committee is to oversee all aspects of the renovations and improvements that are taking place at New Roxbury Village.

The Town obtained an $800,000 Small Cities Grant to do mainly safety improvements to the apartments, as well as some cosmetic improvements.  Th Committee works with the New Roxbury Housing Authority, the architect, and the general contractor to ensure that the upgrade runs smoothly and is well coordinated.  The Committee has met with the residents of New Roxbury to get their input on the project.  The renovations and upgrades should be completed sometime in the late Fall of 2007 or very early Spring of 2008.

Meeting Schedule

The full New Roxbury Building Committee meets twice a month, usually on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 3:00 p.m. either in the Selectmen's conference room at the Town Hall or at the Apartment Complex (see posted agendas for meeting place)  See the Town Government Calendar on the Home page for upcoming meetings.  Special Subcommittee meetings are scheduled as needed. Agendas and minutes are available at the Town Hall and on this website. Meetings are open to the public.
