OFFICIAL RESULTS from Secretary of State for February 5, 2008 Presidential Primary

Voter turnout:  42.8% of Republicans and 61% of Democrats on active enrollment lists.

Winner in Woodstock: 

• Democrat - Obama with 428 votes
• Republican - McCain with 283 votes

Voter turnout for the November 6, 2007 municipal elections was as follows:

• 614 of 1237 Democrats = 49.6%
• 828 of 1526 Republicans = 54.2%
• 590 of 1890 Unaffiliated = 31.2 %

Of the 2040 votes cast, approximately 40% were Republican, 30% were Democrats and 28% were Unaffiliated.
