UPCOMING PROGRAMS

New Recreation Park Facility

Check out our new Recreation Park located on Senexet Village Rd. There is a soccer field, basketball court and walking trail. This Recreation area is being renovated and maintained by the Woodstock Highway and Recreation Departments and is open to the public. More upgrades to this area are already in progress. For more information contact the Recreation Department.

Summer Tennis Lesson: Children Ages 5-12 & Adults begin July 5, 2010. Camps available. Click on "News" Tab for dates, times and pricing or call 860-928-0208 x305 for more information or to register.
CT Plays Sports Camps: August 2-6 for kids ages 4-12. $125.00 ages 6-12 for 3-Sport and $89.00 ages 4-6 for Super Sport Program. Creative Kids Workshop: Calling all Princes and Princesses: June 25, 2010 @ Woodstock Town Hall from 10 a.m. to Noon. Come join in the fun and create your own crown or tiara, sword or wand, and a themed door knob hanger all based on the Prince/Princess Theme. $20 pp includes all materials, snack and drink. Children entering Kindergarden through Grade 2 may register. Call 860-928-0208 x305 or email recreationdirector@woodstockct.gov. Class is limited to 24.
Squirt Soccer Registrations for Woodstock Residents begin March 1, 2010. Ages 3-4 $22 pp includes T-shirt and prize. Family Max $35. Summer Basketball League for kids in Grades 4-12. $25.00 pp/Family Max $50. Registration Night at Woodstock Town Hall (lower level) is June 16, 2010 from 6-8- p.m. This is an outdoor program! Program begins July 19 and runs for 5 weeks. Days and times TBA.
VOLLEYBALL CAMPS W/ JEFF BOSHKA @ Woodstock Middle School from 9 – 11:30 a.m. for kids entering grades 5-12

Session 1: July 5-8, Session 2: Aug 2-5

Cost: $85 per week or $150 for both

Learn and develop the proper fundamentals of the game!
Memorial Day 10k Road Race: May 31, 2010 @ 9:00 a.m. Early registration: $8 by May 15, After May 15 and Race Day registration: $15. Gentle Yoga w/ Sara Gustaveson from Inside Out Wellness

6 week session $65 pp ~ Tuesday Evenings 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. from Sept. 21 to Oct. 26 at the Woodstock Elementary School Gym. Space is limited. Register early by calling 860-928-0208 x305.

Summer Soccer Clinic w/ Amy Cross

@ Woodstock Middle School Field ~ August 9-12 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm ~ $35 (includes soccer ball) Children entering grades K through 5 may register (Registration Deadline: August 4, 2010)
Swim Lessons: Walk in registrations will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Woodstock Town Hall from 5-7 pm. Cost: $20 first child, $10 each addition child for Woodstock Residents. Toddler TIme: Fall Session Begins September 13, 2010.Free program offered to children ages 1 to 4. Program includes Story, Singing, Dancing and craft. Sessions are held 2 Mondays per month at Woodstock Town Hall. Call for availability. Only 24 children accepted. Pre-registration required
