WPCA Update: The Woodstock Water Pollution Control Authority is asking those town residents who are connected to the town’s septic system to be thoughtful about items being flushed down their toilets. In particular, towns have seen an increase in clogged pumps at its pump stations due to residents flushing disinfecting wipes down their toilets, which can lead to backups in the home. We trust that Woodstock residents will take note of this issue and dispose of disinfecting wipes and other items in their trash. Thank you for taking a proactive approach and helping us maintain the integrity of our sewer system.
