Woodstock Welcomes New Recreation Director

The Town of Woodstock welcomes Erin Lucas as our new Recreation Director. Erin has a background in event planning and membership services from the YMCA and brings graphic design and marketing experience to this position. First Selectman Jay Swan says, “We are happy to have Erin join our team. Her enthusiasm and skill set really stood out to us during the hiring process. I am confident she will work hard to maintain and expand the existing recreation programs, as well as bring new ideas to fruition.”

With the help of the Recreation Committee, Erin jumped right into coordinating the recent successful Woodstock Winter Festival. Recreation Basketball and Volleyball, Ski Club, Knitting, Yoga, and Zumba are all programs she is working on currently, as are Adult Co-Ed Basketball and Volleyball. “I am excited to be here and look forward to getting to know the community and being able to offer programs that will engage and interest a wide variety of residents” stated Erin.
