Marriage License Application Worksheet

  • Individuals getting married in Woodstock, Connecticut must obtain their marriage license no more than 65 days before their wedding from the Town Clerk

  • .Please click on the link above to download the Marriage License Application Worksheet and fill it out in its entirety.  You then must notify my office before coming into the Town Hall about your upcoming wedding and email the completed worksheet to us.  Once we have received your email, we will create your license and send an email to you to let you know when to come in to sign and pay for your marriage certificate.  We accept cash or check.

  • The fee for a marriage license is $50.00.

  • We issue a complimentary certified copy of your license to you at no charge.  If you would like additional copies, the fee is $20 each.

  • Note: Same sex marriages became legal in Connecticut on November 12, 2008.
