Governor Lamont has announced Connecticut will continue age-based approach to COVID-19 vaccinations. More information can be found here. The planned schedule is as follows:

March 1, 2021: Expands to age group 55 to 64
March 22, 2021: Expands to age group 45 to 54
April 12, 2021: Expands to age group 35 to 44
May 3, 2021: Expands to age group 16 to 34

The Town of Woodstock has partnered with the State of Connecticut to participate in the COVID-19 Alerts and Updates System. This system will be used to send COVID19 updates to you, as members of our community via phone, email, and text. All you have to do is opt-in to receive these
messages and you will begin receiving them.

TEEG will be at the Woodstock Town Hall Monday March 1 and Wednesday March 3 from 10 am to noon to register citizens 65 and over for the COVID vaccine. Interested participants must call 860-923-3458 to register.

In addition, Woodstock citizens age 65 and over who want assistance making an appointment for a COVID vaccine may call Su Connor, Agent for the Elderly, at 860-974-1705.

The Northeastern Connecticut Transit District (NECTD) is offering people over 65 rides to get their COVID-19 vaccine – serving the Towns of Brooklyn, Canterbury, Eastford, Hampton, Killingly, Plainfield, Pomfret, Putnam, Sterling, Thompson, and Woodstock.

  • In order to utilize this service, you MUST first register for a vaccine through your healthcare provider, via phone at: 877-918-2224 (7 Days/Week - 8:00 am to 8:00pm), or online by clicking here.
  • Once you have registered, please call the Northeastern Connecticut Transit District at: 860-774-3902 (Monday – Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm) to schedule a ride to your vaccination location.

NDDH and partners from the Eastern CT State University Business Information Systems Program have collaborated to create a website that makes it simple to schedule a COVID vaccination appointment with VAMS—the national Information Technology System that was designed to manage vaccination efforts.  You can view it here: https://ecsu-bisaitp.org/
