What We Do:

It is the intention of the Public Works Department to provide the residents of Woodstock with the highest quality of service. We will accomplish this through constant preventative maintenance, continued capitol growth, and dedicated upkeep of the Town’s highway system.

The Highway Facility is responsible for the following operations on Town roads:

  • Brush and limited tree work
  • Chip-sealing and paving
  • Maintaining Town commons and greens, etc
  • Plowing and sanding
  • Roadside mowing
  • Storm water infrastructure
  • Street sweeping

We also assist the following:

  • Crystal Pond Park
  • Town Beach
  • Recreation

The highway facility also has the following for Town residents: Wood chips, firewood, and sand in small quantities. These items are not available for commercial or business entities. Come stop by and see us!

The Highway Facility Foreman is Jason Scranton. He is also responsible for:

  • Facilities Maintenance
  • Fleet Services
  • The Town Fuel Depot
  • Town Transfer Station

The Highway Facility (Public Works) is located at 215 Coatney Hill Road.
