A Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the Town of Woodstock, Connecticut, will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Woodstock Town Hall, 415 Route 169 in Woodstock.  The Meeting will be held to consider the following actions and to vote on the following resolutions:

1) To elect a Moderator

2) To Consider and vote upon the following resolution:

        To Have Brockway Road Paved and Drainage Issues Addressed.

3) To consider and vote upon the following:

Amendment I to the Ordinance Doubling Exemptions of Farm Machinery from Tax. A copy of the proposed Amendment I to the ordinance is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office.

4) To consider and vote upon the following:

Amendment I to the Ordinance Authorizing Tax Exemptions for Farm Buildings. A copy of the proposed Amendment I to the ordinance is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office.

5) To consider and vote upon the following:

Amendment I to the Ordinance Concerning the Vending and Selling of Merchandise and Goods in the Town of Woodstock. A copy of the proposed Amendment I to the ordinance is on file in the Town Clerk’s office.

6) To consider and vote upon the following:

An Ordinance Regarding Citation for Violations of Town Regulations

7) To consider and vote upon the following:

                RESOLVED, that the Town of Woodstock approve the expenditure not to exceed

$125,000.00 as recommended by the Board of Finance from the Reserve for Capital     and Non-Recurring Expenditure to be used for the Woodstock Elementary School Underground Storage Tank Removal Project.

8) To consider and vote on the following resolution:

RESOLVED, that the Town of Woodstock approve the expenditure not to exceed $70,000.00 as recommended by the Board of Finance from the Reserve for Capital and Nonrecurring Expenditure fund to be used for the purchase of Lucas Batteries and Stryker Equipment.

9) To Consider and vote upon the following resolution:

RESOLVED, that the Town of Woodstock approve the expenditure not to exceed $124,165.07 as recommended by the Board of Finance from the Reserve for Capital and Non-Recurring Expenditure to be used for the Pulpit Rock Road bridge renovation.

10) To Adjourn:
