Proposed Mission- To review potential applicants and recommend a Poet Laureate to the Board of Selectmen to appoint before the start of each term. Work with and support the current Poet Laureate in their designated roles, responsibilities, and expectations set forth by the position.

● Term of members shall be two years, concurrent with Board of Selectmen
● Comprised of up to six members, who are current residents of Woodstock, having resided in town for at least one year
● Four members of the committee will each be assigned to represent the interests of one of the existing libraries in Woodstock (May, North, West, and Bracken).
