Mailing Address:
Town of Woodstock CT
415 Route 169
Woodstock, CT 06281-3039
Mission:
The Town’s Water Pollution Control Authority was established in March 1989 by Town Ordinance. WPCA governs the public sanitary sewage systems located within the Town of Woodstock, as well as all the equipment related to its operation. It is not part of the Town Budget.
Important Reminder:
The Water Pollution Control Authority is asking those town residents who are connected to the town’s septic system to be thoughtful about items being flushed down their toilets. In particular, towns have seen an increase in clogged pumps at its pump stations due to residents flushing disinfecting wipes down their toilets, which can lead to backups in the home. We trust that Woodstock residents will take note of this issue and dispose of disinfecting wipes and other items in their trash. Thank you for taking a proactive approach and helping us maintain the integrity of our sewer system.
Membership:
The WPCA consists of 5 members appointed for a five year term. Vacancies are filled by the Selectmen for the unexpired portion of the term.
